The African Development Bank, through the Climate Change and Green Growth Department (PECG), implemented the ACCF-funded project “The Africa NDC Hub: Supporting NDCs Implementation in Africa”, aimed at supporting Uganda, Namibia, São Tomé and Príncipe, Cameroon, and Zambia to accelerate access to climate finance to implement their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). The project contributed to strengthening institutional and technical capacity, supporting the development of the project pipeline, and enabling the mobilisation of climate finance to drive national climate priorities.
The project successfully delivered three core outputs:
Output 1.1: Pipeline of bankable, investment-ready projects identified and developed from NDC priorities for mobilization of climate finance at scale.
Output 1.2: Strengthened national institutional capacity for climate finance planning, project design and implementation.
Output 1.3: Monitoring & Evaluation support to capture progress, outcomes and lessons.
Upon successful completion of the project, the Bank intends to recruit an Individual Consultant to design and prepare the Project Completion Report (PCR) in accordance with AfDB/ACCF evaluation requirements. The PCR will assess the results achieved; document lessons learned, evaluate sustainability and performance, and provide recommendations for strengthening future ACCF programme design and delivery.
