Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and logistical support for the implementation of reintegration project activities.

  • Assist in beneficiary registration, documentation, filing and data entry in line with IOM procedures.

  • Support the organization of project activities including workshops, trainings, sensitization sessions and meetings.

  • Assist with procurement, logistics and administrative processes related to project activities, in coordination with relevant units.

  • Support data collection, consolidation and basic analysis for monitoring and reporting purposes.

  • Maintain proper physical and electronic filing and archiving of project documentation.

  • Support the preparation of internal updates, activity reports and donor reporting inputs.

  • Assist senior project staff during field missions, monitoring visits and verification exercises.

  • Liaise with other relevant units as necessary.

  • Ensure timely communication and information sharing within the project team.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications and Experience

Education

  • Completed secondary education is required.

  • A university degree in Social Work, Political Sciences, Psychology, Sociology, Development Studies, Migration Studies or a related field is an advantage.

Accredited universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.


Experience

  • Six (06) years of relevant professional experience with secondary education; or

  • Four (04) years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree.

  • Demonstrated experience in reintegration, project implementation and coordination.


Skills

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.

  • Proven ability to monitor quality, performance and compliance with procedures.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including coaching and feedback abilities.

  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.


Languages

  • Fluency in French and English (oral and written) is required.

  • Knowledge of a national language is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of English and one of Guinea’s local languages would be an asset.

Language proficiency may be evaluated through written and/or oral assessments during the recruitment process.
