The Consultant will work under the supervision of the AFAWA Management and will be responsible for:
Supporting the procurement of consulting firms, individual consultants, and service providers required under the GrowFi Program;
Preparing and reviewing Expressions of Interest (EOIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Terms of Reference (TORs), evaluation reports, negotiation minutes, contracts, and other procurement documentation;
Supporting the recruitment and contracting of the BDS consortium responsible for delivering technical assistance services to participating PFIs;
Ensuring compliance with the Bank’s procurement policies, procedures, and timelines throughout the procurement cycle;
Monitoring contract implementation, deliverables, payment requests, and consultant performance;
Supporting procurement planning, contract tracking, and procurement reporting activities;
Coordinating with relevant Bank departments, including procurement, legal, financial management, and fiduciary teams, to facilitate smooth implementation of procurement processes;
Maintaining procurement records and supporting audit and reporting requirements;
Establishing and regular updating of procurement tracking and contract management tools
Supporting the preparation of procurement-related inputs for quarterly and annual internal and donors’ reports;
Performing any other procurement and contract management tasks required for the implementation of the AFAWA GrowFi Program.
